BASIC INFORMATION
- Program Time Period: July 1, 2009 - Labor Day Weekend
- Funds available: $3 Billion ... when it runs out, the program ends!
- Incentive: Receive either $3,500 - $4,500 off the price of a new vehicle IN ADDITION to existing manufacturer incentives.
QUALIFICATION
- Must purchase a NEW vehicle
- Must trade in a a vehicle that gets less than 19 MPG (18 or less).
- Trade in must have been registered + insured + drivable during the last continuous 12 months.
- Buyers name must be on Registration and Title to qualify
- Trade must be 25 years old or newer to qualify
- Trade will be scrapped by the dealer and cannot ever be sold again.
- Amount of voucher depends on qualifying vehicle and fuel economy improvement over trade.
- When the money runs out ... the program ends ... (FIRST COME - FIRST SERVE).
